Important Information

Chase STEMM Academy is a thriving elementary building that services students in grades K-8. Our core curriculum provides experiences for students in science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine. As an Ohio-designated STEMM school, we focus on the health and well-being of our learning community. These unique learning opportunities prepare our students to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and life-long learners in the 21st century. In addition, our students are engaged in project-based learning using the engineering design process that supports a personal real-world connection to students'’ academic experiences.

We have numerous community partners (Owens Corning, Mentors in Schools, Toledo Zoo, Metroparks, RFS T.A.C.K.L.E., Vineyard Church, Toledo Police Department, Luken T. Boyle Campaign for Kindness, BGSU TRIO, Girl Scouts, Making Schools Work, NASA) that support the real-world connections for our scholars. When our students leave our academy, they are prepared to excel at one of our STEMM-focused high schools: Toledo Technology Academy, Aerospace and Natural Science Academy, and Pre-Medical and Health Science Academy.

On our most recent Ohio report card, we received five stars (highest rating) for progress due to significant evidence that our school exceeded student growth expectations by a larger magnitude. In the area of gap closing on the report card, we received four stars because our school exceeded state standards in closing educational gaps.

Students can participate in extracurricular activities (combine): YWOE/YMOE, boys intramural basketball, Girls Who Code, Girls on the Run, E-Sports, and the same athletic programs available to other 7th and 8th graders at TPS schools.

After-school tutoring and TRIO/Educational Talent Search are also available. Tutoring during the day is provided by Mentors in Schools and Owens Corning.
